Livestock Disinfection

Eliminates Viruses & Bacteria

The Micro-Spray System is easily installed in any size barn or livestock facility (e.g., gestation, nursery, farrowing, finishing) and is applied 1-2 x daily for approximately 10-15 minutes. The Micro-Sprayer converts the Paerolyte liquid disinfectant into tiny vapor particles, which permeate throughout the barn killing viruses and bacteria (e.g., PRRSv, PEDv).

Water Disinfection

Broad Spectrum Disinfectant for Water Treatment

Our water disinfection products are safe, non-toxic, and cost-effective compared to chlorine dioxide or other chemical-based solutions, and are easily implemented into any existing drinking water system. Paerolyte Tabs is certified for animal consumption and is applied continually throughout the growth cycle using either the Dual Pump Dosing system or the Aquatabs Inline system. Paerolyte Tabs is highly effective at killing pathogens (e.g., E.coli, Salmonella) and has shown to improve the digestive health of animals (e.g., Enteritis). Paerolyte Tabs Plus is the only EPA-registered product certified to remove biofilm and can be used to flush and disinfect drinking lines and water tanks between growth cycles.

Pit & Lagoon Management

Safe & Effective

Better Biosecurity works closely with swine producers to design and implement an effective sludge reduction and manure management program. Pit Magic may be applied to pits, lagoons, flush tanks, and deep or shallow pull-plug pits and will liquify sludge, eliminate odor, and allow for increased field application. Pit Magic will decrease the need for agitation and has shown to reduce ammonia and toxic gases, which may improve overall animal health. The typical application rate for Pit Magic is 1 pound per 30,000 gallons in pits and lagoons, or 1 pound per 1,000 cubic feet in pull plug systems. Pit Magic will achieve visible results in large pits and lagoons within 30 – 60 days. Pit Magic has no harmful side effects and has a triple “O” NFPA Rating.

General Facility Disinfection

Broad Spectrum Disinfectant for Surfaces

Paerolyte Tabs Plus may be used as a general disinfectant throughout the livestock facility. Just add the effervescent tablets to water as required, and apply the disinfectant using standard application devices (e.g., power washer). Paerolyte Tabs Plus is more effective than chemical-based cleaners or disinfectants, with no toxic fumes, hazardous waste or burning and skin irritation. Farm workers will prefer working with Paerolyte Tabs Plus for its safety, ease of use and effectiveness as compared to any other disinfecting product.
